Stanton Brings both Capitol Hill and K Street Experience to the Firm

Stanton brings over seven years of Capitol Hill experience, most recently as Policy Advisor for the Senate Special Committee on Aging and Legislative Assistant for Chairman Herb Kohl. Working on Committee and the Senator's personal staff gave Stanton an array of policy experience including Medicare and prescription drug issues for seniors and education and health appropriations issues for the state. Stanton supported Kohl who is also a Member of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health, and Human Services, and Education.

Rosen brings more than a decade of Capitol Hill and Executive Branch experience to Heather Podesta + Partners. He comes to HP+P after serving as counsel to Senator Joseph R. Biden, Jr. (D-DE), where he worked on intellectual property legislation, homeland security matters, and other legislative issues. In his capacity as counsel on the Judiciary Committee, Rosen negotiated and drafted portions of the Homeland Security Act of 2002, Patriot Act of 2001 and its reauthorization in 2005, Platform Equality and Remedies for Rights Holders in Music Act of 2006, Department of Justice Reauthorization Act of 2005, Protect Act of 2003, and other important legislation before the Committee. Rosen also was responsible for all homeland security and Justice Department-related appropriations for Senator Biden.
