Anne Wonsettler

Anne Wonsettler provides clients with guidance and assistance on a variety of policy and legislative issues, including education, health care, biotechnology, and infrastructure. Wonsettler’s state-level expertise allows her to assist clients in obtaining their policy goals at both the state and federal levels.

Prior to joining Heather Podesta + Partners, Wonsettler served the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania under Governor Edward G. Rendell as a Special Assistant to the Secretary of Legislative Affairs. She assisted with the implementation of the Governor’s legislative strategies and worked with members of the Pennsylvania General Assembly and congressional delegation to ensure that they were informed of the Administration's positions on key legislation and issues.

Wonsettler also worked as a Legislative Assistant for the Democratic Caucus leadership in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. She has widespread grassroots campaign experience in both primary and general elections. Most recently, she was involved in operations for the Murtha for Congress, Rendell for Governor, Hillary Clinton for President, and John Kerry for President campaigns.

A native of Pennsylvania, Wonsettler began her political career as a staff assistant for Members of Parliament in Great Britain and Canada.
